Policy Features*

  • Buildings insurance - up to £1,000,000 with accidental damage as an optional extra.
  • Contents insurance - up to £100,000 with accidental damage as an optional extra.
  • Landlords' liability insurance - up to £2,000,000 for any one claim. Up to £5,000,000 as an optional extra.
  • Rent guarantee - designed to reimburse your monthly rental income should the tenant stop paying for any reason. Optional extra of up to £100,000 with no excess, indemnity period of 12 months.
  • Loss of rent -loss of any rents receivable or payable including two years' ground rent and the necessary cost of alternative accommodation for your tenant, to a maximum of 25% of the buildings. Claimable in the event of the property becoming uninhabitable due to an insured peril event, i.e. flood or fire.
  • Voluntary excess: £0-£1000
    Compulsory excess: £100-£300 for Building and Contents insurance
    Subsidence excess: £1000
    Flood excess: £100-£300
    Escape of water excess: £500
  • Unoccupied properties are covered for up to 60-90 days as standard. Further unoccupancy can be covered upon request.
  • Legal expenses cover -up to £100,000 for legal costs in pursuing and defending personal claims, such as employment, contract, bodily injury and property disputes.
